The Systems Specialist will support and manage the company’s Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure it runs efficiently and supports employee training and development.
The role combines technical system management with learning technology, ensuring that training programs are delivered smoothly and that digital learning tools align with company goals.
The Systems Specialist will be responsible for a variety of technical and operational duties, including:
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and maintain user accounts.
- Configure system settings and ensure the platform operates efficiently.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues when necessary.
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards.
- Ensure accurate data input and support data extraction for analysis.
- Generate reports on training participation, course completion, and learning effectiveness.
- Upload and organize learning materials such as videos, documents, and online courses.
- Integrate digital learning content into the LMS platform.
- Provide support to employees and training specialists experiencing system challenges.
- Assist stakeholders in uploading learning materials and understanding system updates.
- Track user engagement and participation in training programs.
- Analyze feedback and outcomes to improve learning initiatives.
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Full Grade 12 School Certificate
- Minimum Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in:
- Data analytics
- Business intelligence
- Or a related role
The following skills will be considered an added advantage:
- Knowledge of eLearning authoring tools
- Understanding of data governance and system integration
